Silberline has allowed me to balance advancing my career with the demands of family life. The leadership team at Silberline is very supportive and I get to work with people across the globe. I also enjoy being challenged by interesting opportunities that lie outside my normal finance responsibilities.
I joined Silberline at age 19 because it was a highly regarded local organization. Shortly thereafter, I enrolled in college to get a BS in Chemistry while working at Silberline. The company was very supportive along the way. Since completing my degree I have held numerous positions here, each time having excellent supervisors from which to learn. Today I manage the Technical Service Group. If not for Silberline’s commitment to developing its employees, I would not be where I am today.
My lab in graduate school was tight-knit and the work we did was self-motivated and exploratory. I wanted a similar experience for my employment and was happy to find that here at Silberline. I feel close to the action, and I like the fact that what we develop in lab makes a difference to my coworkers both here in the US and afar. It can be challenging at times, but also very rewarding and exciting.
