Aqua Green Stabilizer series grades are environmentally friendly water-based aluminum pigments, which are developed with the latest water-based stabilization technology by Silberline. They provide excellent compatibility with various water-based systems, good chemical stability and pleasing aesthetic effect. Aqua Green Premier series grades with environmentally friendly features can meet customer requirement of environmental regulations. AGS-160135 is a coarse particle size, non-leafing grade in paste form. It provides good hiding opacity and good whiteness appearance. Appearance: Silver white, smoothness

AGS-160135 is suitable for waterborne general industrial coatings, including waterborne textile coating, waterborne fluorocarbon coating, waterborne mechanical engineering coating and waterborne bicycle coating etc.

The paste should be soaked for one or two hours in about 1:1 or 1:2 weight of a bridging solvent, such as butyl glycol. Dispersion is then achieved by low energy stirring, using a slow speed blade capable of moving the whole mass. Further solvent, water or medium may be added at this stage. When a smooth consistency, free of soft aggregates has been obtained, the balance of the formulation may be slowly added. High shear should be avoided as it bends and breaks the flakes, reducing their brightness. As the water stability can be system dependent, small-scale trials should be carried out to verify the required level of performance.

Aluminum pigment should be stored in the original shipping container and kept tightly sealed. Store containers in a cool, dry, well-ventilated, and properly rated area. Avoid any conditions that will suspend or float the particles in the air, creating a dust cloud. Avoid all possible sources of ignition.
